Spring is the season for fresh starts—and what better way to kick off the season than by clearing out clutter, protecting your identity, and giving back to the community?

🔒 Protect Your Privacy, the Right Way
Recycling electronics isn’t just about reducing waste—it’s about securing your personal information. At Omega ECycles, we understand that the devices you bring to us may still carry sensitive files, login credentials, or even photos and documents you thought were long deleted.
That’s why every item collected at the event will be processed following strict, industry-standard data destruction protocols. Our team ensures that hard drives, memory cards, and storage components are permanently and securely destroyed before recycling takes place.
We are committed to responsible handling—so you can recycle with confidence and peace of mind.
Businesses with larger quantities of devices or more advanced data security needs are welcome to contact us about on-site pickup and our commercial data destruction services.
♻️ Why Electronics Recycling Really Matters
Tossing electronics in the trash might seem convenient—but it comes at a high environmental cost. Electronic waste (or e-waste) is one of the fastest-growing waste streams in the world, and when improperly discarded, it can leak toxic materials into our soil and water.
By choosing to recycle with Omega ECycles, you’re helping:
- Keep hazardous substances like lead, mercury, and cadmium out of landfills
- Conserve valuable resources by recovering metals, plastics, and rare earth elements
- Reduce the need for raw material mining, which often harms ecosystems
- Support a local, responsible recycling operation right here in Central Pennsylvania
At Omega ECycles, we don’t just recycle—we repurpose, reprocess, and rethink how waste can become a resource. Every item you drop off supports our mission to build a smarter, greener, more sustainable future.
🙌 This Event Is for You—and Your Neighbors
This isn’t just another drop-off event—it’s a chance to connect with your community, support local causes, and take meaningful action on sustainability. Whether you’re swinging by with a few old devices or helping a loved one clean out their home office, every little bit makes a difference.
Non-perishable food donations will also be collected on-site to benefit the York County Food Bank. When you bring food, you’re directly helping local families in need—and making an even bigger impact with your visit.
So bring your paper, your devices, and your pantry extras. Tell a neighbor. Invite a friend. And let’s make it a great day for York.
📣 Make a Clean Start This Spring
We believe that responsible recycling should be easy, accessible, and rewarding—and this event is all three. Join us May 17 for a day that’s good for your home, your community, and the planet.
