At Omega ECycles, we’re proud to do our part in building a cleaner, greener future—one recycled device at a time. With Earth Day 2025 right around the corner, we’re excited to partner with several amazing local organizations to bring you three FREE Electronic Recycling Events in York County this April.
These events are open to the public and offer a simple, secure way to clear out your old electronics while keeping toxic e-waste out of our landfills.

🌍 Why ECycling Matters
E-waste is the fastest-growing waste stream globally. Electronics contain toxic materials—like mercury and lead—that can harm the environment if not properly disposed of. At the same time, they contain valuable metals that can be reused in future products.
By recycling your electronics with Omega ECycles, you help:
- Keep harmful materials out of our soil and water
- Reduce the need for mining raw materials
- Save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- Support sustainable, local recycling solutions
🔐 Your Data is Safe With Us
We understand that one of the biggest concerns when recycling electronics is data security. That’s why we take great care in handling devices that may contain personal or sensitive information. All hard drives and memory components collected at our events are securely transported and destroyed following strict data destruction protocols.
If you’re a business or organization with bulk equipment or specific data security needs, we encourage you to reach out to us directly to arrange a customized recycling and data destruction solution.
🧹 How to Prepare for ECycle Day
To make the most of your drop-off, here are a few helpful tips:
- Back up your data before turning in any device
- Perform a factory reset if you can
- Bundle cords and accessories to keep things organized
- Label non-working devices to help us sort and process more efficiently
We’ll take it from there!
